Family Support & Caregiver Assistance
Dads Helping Dads provides support to fathers, caregivers, and families by connecting them with resources, guidance, and services that help create safe, stable, and healthy homes for children and youth.
Our Family Support Services Include:
- Encouragement, peer support, and guidance for fathers, caregivers, and families.
- Helping fathers build strong, positive relationships with their children.
- Parenting education, resources, and practical tools to strengthen caregiving skills.
- Support for families facing challenges such as reunification, separation, behavioral health, substance use, housing instability, and other life transitions.
- Connecting families with community resources and support services.
- Helping caregivers understand and respond to the needs of children affected by trauma or family changes.
- Promoting healthy communication, conflict resolution, and positive co-parenting.
- Advocating for fathers and caregivers as essential partners in their children's lives.
Outreach and Engagement
Dads Helping Dads connects fathers and families with support, resources, and community services. We build trusted relationships, raise awareness of available programs, and help reduce barriers so families can access the assistance they need.
Outreach & Engagement Include:
- Build relationships with fathers, families, and the community.

- Provide peer support, guidance, and referrals.
- Partner with local organizations to expand access to services.
- Follow up to encourage ongoing engagement and support.
Case Management or Navigation
Dads Helping Dads helps fathers, families, and caregivers identify their needs, navigate community systems, and connect with the resources and services that support family stability and long-term success.
- Assess individual and family needs and identify goals.
- Connect fathers and families with community resources and services.
- Help individuals navigate healthcare, housing, employment, and other support systems.
- Provide referrals and warm handoffs to trusted partners.
- Assist with applications, appointments, and service connections.
- Support fathers in strengthening family relationships and positive parenting.
- Coordinate with community partners to improve access to care.
- Provide ongoing guidance, encouragement, and follow-up.
Education Support
Dads Helping Dads provides fathers, caregivers, and families with education, resources, and practical skills that strengthen parenting, support personal growth, and promote healthy, stable families.
- Parenting education and family resources.
- Communication, conflict resolution, and life skills training.
- Education on behavioral health, recovery, and trauma.
- Guidance on accessing community resources and services.
- Connections to workshops, classes, and learning opportunities.
- Financial literacy education through community partners.
